Advent Blog-a-long Day 11

I decided I needed to do another chirstmas post for today so thought about searching the origins of Santa .  I'm fraid I got a little distracted by this great little site called the North Pole.  It celebrates the holidays with dozens of activities for children and families. A child-safe, award-winning holiday site, promotes a traditional look at Santa’s Secret Village at the North Pole, but with high-tech, creative features to keep children and adults entertained—all for free.

So instead of researching the origins on Santa Claus I have been browsing Mrs Claus' cookbook (some interesting looking recipes in that) and checking out the tools such as the Good Deeds Calendar.  Santas Den has a list of books by age, movies and music for you to peruse as well as buy (through amazon).  The Elf Pal Academy has a lot of kids games and learning tools to use as well.

I have bookmarked it for next year (at 15month Jot is still a touch young for a lot of this)

So back to the origins of Santa.  You know what that can wait till another day.

Have a good afternoon all and enjoy the fact we are only 15 days to Christmas.
