Life is busy

I never realised just how busy life would be with 2 children.  Those of you with more  than two have my respect.  Even on days Jot goes into childcare there is so much to do that Blogging gets a little forgotten.  Sewing has also been a little neglected recently through no fault of my own.  Trying to stay even remotely on top of everything with a newborn in the house is proving remarkably difficult.

I have managed to baste a quilt (although not managed to quilt it yet), make a couple of skirts for Jot and a friend of hers and a block for surprise quilt for a friend (which I probably shouldn't show but she isn't going to read this).

I have also signed up for a Mug Rug swap on FB and here are a few sneak peaks of attempt one (which has a very irritating pucker in the quilting)  I am not sure I like how it has come together so I am going to sit on it for a bit.  I love the back though so I may keep it and use it upside down.

So now it is back to the drawing board (or rather the fabric stash) in the hope that something will jump out at me.
